Booking Conditions

§ 1

The guest accommodation agreement (rental agreement) is closed as soon as the room / rooms have been ordered and confirmed by CityHotel Kempten.

§ 2

The conclusion of the guest accommodation contract (rental agreement) obliges the contracting parties to fulfill the contract, irrespective of the duration of the contract. The contract cannot be solved unilaterally.

§ 3

Option data is binding for both parties. The CityHotel Kempten reserves the right to rent the reserved rooms and meeting rooms elsewhere after expiration of the option dates.

§ 4

Booked hotel rooms are available to the guest from 3pm on the day of arrival until 11am on the day of departure. Unless an express arrival time has been expressly agreed, CityHotel Kempten reserves the right to re-assign ordered hotel rooms after 6 pm.

§ 5

The service user does not acquire the right to provision of certain hotel rooms. If agreed rooms, for whatever reason, are not available, CityHotel Kempten is obliged to arrange for an equivalent replacement, also outside the house, as far as this is reasonable.

§ 6

For changes or cancellations of booked hotel rooms will be charged:

a) Cancellation up to 40 days before arrival: no cancellation fee

b) Cancellation 39 to 30 days before arrival: 30% of the agreed services

c) Cancellation 29 to 14 days before arrival: 45% of the agreed services

d) Cancellation 13 to 0 days before arrival: 80% of the agreed services

e) For business-related single nights:

• Cancellation up to 3 days before arrival: no cancellation fee
• Cancellation within 3 - 0 days before arrival: 80% of the agreed services

f) No-show and early departure will be charged 100%

§ 7

Invoices without a due date are due on the day of departure. The following payment methods are accepted: cash payment and credit card payment (EC card, Mastercard, Visa and American Express).

§ 8

Credit cards (Amex, Visa, Mastercard) are accepted for payment of amounts which are neither subject to a commission claim nor based on discounted prices.

§ 9

If the period between the conclusion of the contract and the provision of services exceeds 6 months, CityHotel Kempten reserves the right to make price changes without prior notice.

§ 10

Changes in VAT, regardless of the time of the conclusion of the contract, are in favor or at the expense of the service user. All prices are in EURO and include VAT.

§ 11

Verbal agreements are not made. Changes and additions of any kind require the written form to be effective.

§ 12

The bringing of food and drinks requires the prior approval of the City Hotel Kempten.

§ 13

Any disruptions to technical or other facilities provided by CityHotel Kempten shall be remedied immediately, as far as possible. A retention or reduction of payments by the customer is expressly excluded.
